You may notice some things look different or that certain resources have been moved.  As we improve our understanding of this Community platform, there are many features and experiences we'll be improving across the site. These changes will be listed in this article as they go live.

Please let us know if a certain change has the opposite effect and makes things more difficult - we only improve if we work together!

July 2022: Community Content Guidelines 

• Creating and refining Community Content Guidelines that describe each content type in Community and their respective use-cases: Understanding Apptio Content Types
  • Articles & Videos can only be published by Apptio employees and partners.
• Events widgets have been added to the Home page.
• Product Enhancement Ideas added to Community navigation menu.

June 2022: Navigation Menu Refresh

• Added new option Community - a compilation of resources specific to Apptio Community.
  • Intro to Community & How to Search Apptio Community videos
  • Community & Networking hub page
  • Relocated Member Directory as a sub-option under Community.
• Increased sub-menu options for Platform to highlight previously inaccessible spaces and articles
• Moved Internal-only options out of existing menus (Platform, Learn) and into separate, dedicated menu options. These extra navigation options will only appear if you have proper permissions.
• Articles & Videos across all spaces no longer display thread attachments as duplicate, separate entries.
• Carousel added to homepage.

February 18th, 2022: Apptio Community Tagging Refresh

• All tags were consolidated into a limited list of verified tags
• Only Community Admins can create new tags
• Use Share an Idea page to suggest additional or missing tags
• Search Best Practices video showcases the recommended tag-search capability
