A place for Cloudability product users to learn, connect, share and grow together.
We have launched multi-cloud cloud sustainability metrics in Cloudability. Cloudability customers can quickly and easily view these metrics to get insights into their public cloud carbon emissions.
The following sustainability metrics can now be accessed from Cloudability reports and dashboards:
The below services are being supported across various cloud vendors:
EC2
Compute
EBS
Managed Disk
RDS
Azure Database- SQL Server- PostgresSQL
A sample dashboard is available within Cloudability to get started, this can be found under All Dashboards/Manage Dashboards.
The Dashboard acts as a starting point for viewing the Carbon emissions on the public cloud. It takes a top down approach where Sustainability metrics can viewed in various dimensions:
And so on ..
The dashboard can be copied over and updates can be made as desired.
Within Cloudability one can even drill down to the resource level for emissions for the supported services. The good news is that the preconfigured views will continue to work on Sustainability metrics.
Cloudability also supports brining in Cost data along with Sustainability metrics so that customers can get a consolidated view of Cost and Emissions together in a single Dashboard or a Report.
