Access and details of any third-party platforms should already be available and added into the applicable places in the workflow. Purpose of Workflow: Add a new policy to SevOne NMS.

Description: This workflow adds a new policy to SevOne NMS.  Workflow verifies the policy does not exist in NMS before executing the create policy task.

List of requirements:

SevOne Install: Version 6.3.0 or newer

RNA Install:

Environment Required:

·        SevOne NMS:  needed for SevOne API access

o   SevOne Username / Password

o   Mgmt IP of SevOne collector

Inputs:

• Name of SevOne policy to be created
• Device group name for the policy
• Authorization key for Sev One NMS

Setup:

• Workflow:  Takes the policy name entered by user and checks if the policy exists in sevOne NMS.
• Workflow: If the policy does exists the workflow exits without creation of policy.
• Workflow: If the policy does not exist the workflow proceeds to next step in creation of the policy.
• If the device group name is blank, the policy is created with default “All Device Group”
• If user enters a device group name, a sub-workflow(findGroupID) to get the ID of the device group name is executed. 
• The device group ID is used to create the policy.

Instructions:

To Run the Workflow: 

·        Execute the workflow with the required inputs.

Expected results:

A new sevOne policy is created if it does not exist on SevOne NMS.
