This session is designed to cover the common use cases that will help AIX customers begin their Hybrid-Cloud journeys. Participants will learn options for extending their AIX environments off-prem by doing test/dev, setting up an off-prem business continuity solution or fully migrating their production workloads. We will provide resources that will make it easier, and will show an end-to-end demo of the whole lifecycle – backup an on-prem database to PowerVS, restore the database, make it the active production copy, set up a secure automated backup service, and automated DR. We will also show how their business value can be further enhanced by modernizing with AI. After this session, customers will be excited and ready to start their Hybrid Cloud journey with IBM Power Virtual Server.
