Students will showcase innovative projects powered by IBM AI technology. First, hear about WatsonRex, an IBM watsonx-powered rescue robot for disaster zones designed to communicate with survivors and guide rescue efforts. Then, learn about an AI engine for a leading snack producer, streamlining the handling of 2,000+ annual customer complaints. Next, we will explore a real-time flood monitoring solution that uses traffic cameras, Natural Language Processing (NLP) to analyze social media, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for urban flood management. And finally, hear about a project by students from the UK that predicts energy efficiency from building blueprints. Attendees will also learn about IBM SkillsBuild, a free education program built to power the future in tech.
