Data engineers struggle to get to the one single source of truth because of difficulty extracting data from various sources. Existing data pipeline technology mean that data engineers must repeat common tasks that take up a lot of time, manage data processing complexity, troubleshoot issues with complex data pipelines, and find ways to work with multi-modal data types. Join this session to see how you can create the modern data stack with watsonx.data Spark VSCode and technologies like dbt to take away complexity and design jobs without coding experience. We will cover examples of common use cases, pipeline creation using VSCode, and best practices for operation and migration. We will dive deep into what’s new with this reference architecture and what we are working on for future releases.
