2590 - Unpacking Cyber Recovery: How it Differs from Traditional Disaster Recovery

Recovering from a cyber attack is often perceived as being the same as Disaster Recovery or Business Continuity. However, there are very significant differences in how you prepare for or perform a recovery. A returning customer speaker, Rulan Patel, is a member of the team responsible for data protection at Citgo. Citgo operations span refining and transporting of petroleum products to operating many gas stations/convenience stores. As such they are prime targets for a cyber attack and regulations specific to each of those facets need to be followed. This session will discuss the near-term enhancements as well as strategic changes being planned to build a world-class cyber resilient solution.
