For years, IBM Cognos Analytics has given organizations up-to-the-moment details about how their business is running, and useful dashboards and reports based on reliable key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics. More recently, Planning Analytics was introduced by IBM which enhances decision-making power and better predictability about what the future would look like based on possible changes. However, there is one piece missing: root cause analysis. In this presentation and live demo we will explore how organizations are leveraging IBM Process Mining with their existing Cognos and Planning Analytics data to understand the “why” behind the “what”, and creating visualizations of the processes that are driving the details of the current business dashboards.
