Many modern OpenShift applications require persistent storage to operate efficiently. While several storage options exist, one of the most robust and high-performance solutions is IBM Spectrum Scale Container Native Storage Access (CNSA) with IBM Storage Scale (GPFS). In this session, we will share our experiences for deploying an OpenShift cluster with CNSA and Storage Scale in an air-gapped environment. This setup runs entirely on two IBM mainframes, each utilizing KVM to host both OpenShift and GPFS nodes. Join us to explore the challenges, solutions, and insights gained from implementing this architecture.
