Merging cells in a table within RPE

  • 1.  Merging cells in a table within RPE

    I have a table that contains 12 columns and 4 rows, but the first row contains only 3 columns where each cell spans across 4 columns. However, when I run RPE to filter this table, it gives me a row with 3 single-column cells. How do I make t have the merged cells stay in place? I've tried many different items, but nothing seems to be working. I've even tried inserting single-cell tables within the spanned cells, but it still appears with the same 3 single-cell columns. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, if it even can be done.
