  • 1.  Is there a way to block Application Administration pages in RTC?

I'd prefer not to see any Application Administration pages (Overview, Timelines, Roles, etc.).  As a user in the jazzUsers group is there a way to set permissions to limit access? Any suggestions or is this just standard?

    Hi Jack,

unfortunately this is a pattern. Users at jazz User group cannot modify project configurations, but they can access the project area administration page.

there are wot role settings you need to take care:

Jazz repository permissions,  like: Jazz admin, jazz project admin or jazz user

and the roles inside the project area, like: scrum master, team member, (admin, developer, ..)

from the project area for all memebers the procet admin pages are reachable and view able

-> think in collobartion,, (but if you have no interest you do not need to open the admin page)

depending on your project area roles, you have only read acces or write access.

like as a scrum master (jazz: only user / PA role scrum master) your job is to create new interations

-> you need to change the timeline settings

like as an company jazz server admin (jazz: admin or project admin / PA: administrator) your job is to add new team mebers to the server and project area

-> you need to change the member ship list

that all means just the setting of the jazz user or jazz admin ist not enough
