Dear IBM Tape Storage Community,
I am trying to make report about power consumption of our IBM TS4500 tape libraries and I am using the following documentation as a base: Power consumption and cooling requirements
I have the following comments:
- The above mentioned documentation is missing information about the IBM TS1170 tape drives power consumption and cooling requirements. Is it safe to assume that they are the same as for IBM TS1160 tape drives?
- Correct me if I am wrong, but I am not able to find the actual / current / live power consumption of our IBM TS4500 tape libraries when searching using REST over SCSI (TS4500 REST over SCSI). It is not in the output of
GET /v1/frames
nor in the output of GET /v1/powerSupplies
nor in the general output of GET /v1/library
.
- Instead of me reinventing the wheel - does anyone of you have a spreadsheet where one could simply enter the IBM TS4500 library configuration (number of each frame type, number of drive types, if HA accessor) and it would calculate the maximum continuous power consumption? If yes, could you please share such spreadsheet with the community?
Thank you very much in advance for your reply. Best regards,
