@John Booze
It is difficult to determine if this is a DPM issue or a drive issue. The error from DPM seems to imply that the tape can be read, but that the catalog cannot be found. I do not have any experience with DPM. I am a tape drive Subject Matter Expert. Without data related to the low-level drive communications, there isn't enough information to confirm that the issue is solely with the data construct on tape.

Subject: TS2900 Suspect Tapes
Hello,
We are using DPM read tapes from the TS2900. I am trying to read data from archive tapes and I am presently having two issues.
1. In one instance, I got the tapes it asked for online and got the attached error when I try to read that date.
2. It seems like every tape I load now is showing as Suspect. Is there a way to get those to read?
I have rebooted the drive and the library. When viewing the tape drive portal online it shows the correct tapes and no errors. I also have physically rebooted the drive. Can anyone assist?
Thank you.
