    Hi,

       I have issue about V7000 the hardware error code 673 on node 2 is service state an power supply falt. this issue can solve replacement hardware only?

    Hi Apidesh,

    The Short answer is Yes: you need to replace hardware to clear this error.

    The long answer is - 

    The node error here is related to the Battery in the enclosure - the Battery is not charging and does not have enough charge to hold up the node canisters in the event of AC Failure.

    The battery on this hardware is integrated into each of the power supplies.  The Power Supply is failing to provide Charge to the battery, and the battery charge is too low to maintain the node in the event of power failure so the node is put into service to protect the system against running in this unprotected state.  This is because if the node is brought online when it doesn't have a battery back up it will lose the cluster state and cache data on a power glitch.  

    You will need a new power supply and likely a new battery given the age of the system to bring the node online again.

       OK, This issue not replace node(canister  ID2), because node is not fail(hardware status : Online). We replace Battery and Power Supply for fix this issue?

    Hello,

    There is nothing indicated as wrong with the Node from your information.  The fault is identified as the PSU (and possibly the battery).  This should be clearly identified in the Maintenance Procedures in the main GUI from the remaining node.
