I have an IBM DS3524 on my home network. It has the firmware which is the previous one to the most recent release. I am also using the latest manager. When I attempt to flash the controller or NVRAM with the latest firmware I get an error that suggests I need to the the manager from 3 revisions ago. When I install that manager it refuses to work saying it's too old and I need to install the recent version of the manager.
Does anyone know how to fix or get around this?
I also installed an IBM 600https://nox.tips/GB 10K RPM SAS drive into the SAN and extended the volume out. The light on the drive stays green pretty much. Has anyone experienced this?
Thanks,
issue got solved!!!
