    This database is popular alternative used by many companies around the world, so it can be critical to have a good backup.

    With Spictera SPFS one can protect the Progress databases using native Progress backup and restore commands, and even also taking care of the transactional data (AI logs) using rfutil, ...

    Just mount the Spictera SPFS on the PATH or DRIVELETTER where you want the data to land from the Progress backup utility.
    # mount -t spfs /backup
