Data Protection Software

Here is what I am working with: I installed Spectrum Protects V8.1.3, windows server 2012. I want to clear the data from the container storage pool and delete the backed-up data from the Spectrum Protect client after running the expiration process. When I attempt this, the backed-up data and file spaces are delete, but the the data from the container storage pool is not. 

I've already tried to change the reuse delay to 0, but it has not worked…any suggestions?

Any feedback on this?

Hi Nick, 

You should be running additional commands, not just the 'reuse delay'. These are my command suggestions:

Update stgpool dir_cont_pool reusedelay=0
Update stgpooldirectory dir_cont_pool access=destroyed
Audit container stgpool=dir_cont_pool action=markdamaged
Audit container stgpool=dir_cont_pool action=removedamaged

Also, change the dir_cont_pool with your container storage pool name.
