  • 1.  Error while running ltfs commands

    Hi 

    Whenever i am trying to run any ltfs command for ex- ltfsck and all i have checked all the syntax and all but somehow it is showing me error

    LTFS17085I Plugin: Loading "scsilib" tape backend

    LTFS12012E Cannot open device: failed backend open call.

    LTFS15009E Cannot open device

    kindly help me to resolve these errors 

    currently i am using windows 10 machine with LTO8 and cartridge is 7

    Hello Sher,

    I guess you will have checked this, but just to exclude these from your "problem sheet"
    Have you checked the SCSI driver? Perhaps reinstall it?
    Are you running the commands in Admin mode, or can you try this?
    Are you running the latest firmware and driver versions?
