    Hi, 

    i have a error notificacion on node 2, error code 734. What can i do ?

    Hi,

    node error 734 (IBM Docs) usually is accompanied by error code 1006.

    It basically tells you, that one node canister went offline unexpectedly.

    In Detail it means, that the PCI-e port used for inter-node communication is offline therefore.

    In case, both node canisters are still online, it might be, that the inter-node PCI-e link is degraded for one port offline.

    To remedy from this situation, you can conduct a graceful shutdown of one node canister and reseat it.

    For the aforementioned case, that one node canister if offline, reseat the same.

    Keep in mind, that these actions bear some kind of risk, considering the age of the box, it should be at least 12 years old.

    Hi Sistemas Domvil,

       I think this procedure can help:

    User response

    1. If possible, this noncritical node error should be serviced using the management GUI and running the recommended actions for the service error code.
    2. Follow the procedure for getting node canister and clustered-system information and determine the state of the partner node canister in the enclosure. Fix any errors reported on the partner node canister.
    3. Use the remove and replace procedures to replace the enclosure.

    Possible Cause-FRUs or other cause:

    • Node canister
    • Enclosure midplane

         This issue some case i replace controller(Node 2) the system comeback already.
