You can replicate between any Spectrum Virtualize based products (which includes Storwize, FlashSystem V9000, 5015, 5035, 5100, 5200, 7200, 9100, 9200 and SVC) providing that:
1. Both systems are in the same "layer" (SVC can only ever be in the replication layer, whereas enclosure based systems default to the storage layer, but can be changed to the replicaiton layer).
2. Both systems are running valid/compatible versions of software for replication (others have already posted the link to the compatibility matrices).

Subject: Replication between IBM Flashsystem 5200 & legacy IBM Storwize V7K Gen1,Gen2,Gen3 & rest of the Flashsystem Series
Dear Community Members,
Hope you are all good.
I have an ambiguity regarding storage to storage replication between Newly Announced IBM Flash System 5200 & Legacy IBM Storwize family. I have a customer who has currently running Storwize V7K Gen2 in their environment and purchasing a FlashSystem 5200 at Production Site. The old hardware V7K Gen2 will be moved to the DR Site. Customer is asking whether they both will be able to replicate data in between them or not ?.
Please advise and also please guide that what are the supported storage models for storage to storage replication (Metro Mirroring & Global Mirroring both). Is there any reference link or redbook which explains that.
Early response is highly appreciated.
Regards
