I have a customer will billions of files on Isilon. I need a way to programmatically collect file scan (files/second) performance. Data lake incremental backups are taking months and moving very limited amounts of data. We've taken steps to mitigate performance, but need to demonstrate to management that the file scan rate of the Isilon is contributing to the problem.
I need a technique to programatically measure the file scan performance
Thanks in advance for your ideas
