Saw something when you were monitoring your storage in IBM Spectrum Control! A capacity, configuration, or performance issue. And, you want to share the information with your colleagues. Or, with the owners of storage resources who don’t often access IBM Spectrum Control, but need to know what’s going on.

From any table view in IBM Spectrum Control, you can create one-off reports, or you can schedule reports and share them with your colleagues.

You can send reports by email, as CSV and HTML attachments, or you can save them to your file system.

Just open a page for any resource, such as the Pools page, and click Create Report. Try it!

Create Custom Report

IBM Spectrum Control also provides you with out-of-the-box capacity reports, inventory reports, and chargeback reports. Just click Reports. Then click Create Report and pick the report that you need.

And, if you don’t see the report that you need? Create a custom report!

Predefined capacity and inventory reports

Do more with IBM Spectrum Control. Check out the Reporting section in the knowledge center.

Custom reports are available in IBM Spectrum Control 5.3.0, 5.3.1, and 5.3.2. The feature for attaching reports as CSV and HTML attachments was added to IBM Spectrum Control 5.3.2. Capacity and inventory reports are available in IBM Spectrum Control 5.3.1 and 5.3.2.
