Cyber Security in the Public Sector- Challenges and How One Client overcame them

Thu February 25, 2021 02:02 PM

Government departments continue to be a target for cyber attacks. Not only do their operations and systems contain personal and financial information of millions of citizens, but their operations are also essential for both day-to-day and political and economic life.

Digital transformation in the public sector can transform the relationship between citizens and the state. But as organisations accelerate their digital transformation, traditional security can’t keep up – there are too many tools, too much data, and too few security skills. Also security regulations continue to evolve and become stricter, making compliance a continuing headache.

Unfortunately, Covid-19 has served to compound existing pressures, resulting in a fundamental shift in not only how citizens but also Government department's staff work on a daily basis.

Join leaders from IBM Security and our partner Nologin, as we speak to our mutual client, Aragonesa de Servicios Telemáticos, about all this and how together we have tackled these security challenges.
