 Need help with enroll on windows 10 home

Hello,

Our company has started using MaaS360.

We have a number of PCs running Windows 10 Home.
We initially tried the Enrollment process using the Export & Bulk method, which worked successfully.

However, after testing by disconnecting the Work & School account and deleting the device from the MaaS360 console (as we wanted to use a new user name and re-enroll), we found that re-enrollment on the same Windows 10 Home device failed.

When we tried running the Self Extracting file as an administrator, it briefly showed a black screen and then disappeared.

Upon further investigation, we found that the PC still had some leftover MaaS360 services and folders.

Could you please advise if there is a way to completely remove MaaS360 from the PC?

Hello Narongrat,

We had the exact same issue on some Windows systems after manually removing the work/school connection to MaaS360. If you actually video tape the black screen when the script runs you will see an error. Open a support ticket with IBM, they can provide a uninstall/clean script so it cleans up the registry and left behind files. Thereafter the executable created with the self-extract tool works fine again.
