As organizations move a greater amount of their data and services to the cloud, their security programs need to evolve and adapt. Organizations are ultimately responsible for their people and their data regardless if they operate primarily on-premises or in the cloud. Customers and regulatory agencies expect data to be securely stored and user access to data to be controlled. Identity is the new perimeter, but data security is needed to establish what sensitive data these identities can access. Both identity and data security are core concepts of the Zero Trust framework.

Join us in a discussion on the importance of marrying identity and access management with data security in today’s hybrid multicloud world, and explore scenarios where identity and data security work better together to address critical security challenges. Without context on the risk and sensitivity of data, identity alone would be a vulnerable perimeter.
