The FBI, CISA and HHS recently released an advisory notifying healthcare organizations about a surge Trickbot attacks leading to an increase in Ryuk ransomware incidents. As the advisory states, the increase presents an "imminent cybercrime threat to U.S. hospitals and healthcare providers." Attackers use the malware to execute ransomware attacks, data exfiltration and service disruptions.
