XV Jornadas STIC CCN-CERT

Starts:  Nov 30, 2021 03:30 PM (CET)
Ends:  Dec 3, 2021 03:50 PM (CET)
The Centro Criptológico Nacional (National Cryptological Center) organize for the 15th time the main cybersecurity meeting held in Madrid, Spain at the Kinépolis, Ciudad de la Imagen, from 30th november to the 3rd dicember. A sector that no longer doubts its importance and significance for the development of any nation. This year's motto is 360º Cybersecurity: identity and control of the data,

Fifteen uninterrupted years bringing together the best professionals in the field, public administrations, companies and the University around a common table and sharing the most up-to-date information. During that time, in addition, this event has had the support of the highest institutions of the State: Royal House, Government, regional and local governments, along with a large representation of Latin American countries.

In an era of sophisticated attacks and ransomware that affect organizations and destabilize security, and in which 29% of organizations say they have "blind spots" in their network, cybersecurity analysts must achieve better visibility of networks, endpoints, data lakes, SIEMs and other subsystems through interoperable and open systems. Extended Detection and Response (XDR) is the beginning of a shift toward bringing multiple solutions together, currently in silos, and reducing the complexity that prevents rapid detection and response. But what should you look for in an XDR solution? Furthermore, how does XDR ‘extend’ SIEM to support its Zero Trust aspirations?

IBM will have a 20 min slot on the 1st dic, at 15:30, Module 2, room 19
