    Hello Saad,

First of all, the x3200 M3 is a very old system. I didn't expect to see that systems still online.

Second, you might be in the wrong forum, this sounds not like a security issue, more like a hardware defect.
As far as I can remember, the server has an IMM and its shared on the first Ethernet port. So, try to connect to the IMM (if it still running) and check the logs.
Google it up. if you need to know how to connect.
If you have any beep-codes, also check that.
You also can try to reset the IMM and the UEFI to factory defaults.

Maybe you can start here: https://download.lenovo.com/servers/mig/systems/support/system_x_pdf/90y5682.pdf

    Good luck!

    kind regards

The orange exclamation mark and blinking green power button on your IBM System x3200 M3, along with the "UEFI Starting" message on the LCD, indicate a hardware or firmware issue preventing the system from booting properly.
Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
    1. Check the Basic Hardware:
     * Power Supply: Ensure both power supplies are securely connected and functioning correctly. You can try swapping them to isolate the issue.
     * Memory: Reseat the memory modules, ensuring they are firmly in place. You can also try removing and reinserting them one at a time to identify any faulty modules.
     * Hard Drives: Check the hard drive connections and ensure they are securely attached. You can try removing and reconnecting them.
     * CPU: Ensure the CPU is properly seated and the heatsink is securely attached.
    2. Clear CMOS:
Clearing the CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor) can sometimes resolve booting issues. Refer to your server's manual for specific instructions on how to clear the CMOS.
    3. Update UEFI Firmware:
If the issue persists, updating the UEFI firmware to the latest version might help. Download the latest firmware from IBM's support website and follow the instructions to update it.
    4. Check System Event Log:
The Integrated Management Module (IMM) on your server records system events. Check the System Event Log (SEL) for any error messages that might provide clues about the issue.

    Additional Tips:
     * Visual Inspection: Carefully inspect the server's internal components for any signs of damage or loose connections.
     * Post Diagnostic Codes: Pay attention to any diagnostic codes displayed on the LCD or LPD panel. These codes can provide specific information about the issue.
     * System Event Log: Review the System Event Log for any error messages that might indicate the root cause of the problem.

I think these could help solve the problem.

    Thank you.

    Dear Joshua,

Thank you for your detailed troubleshooting steps and insights regarding my IBM x3200 M3 server issue. I've started following your recommendations systematically:

    1. Checked and swapped the power supplies to ensure they're functioning properly.
    2. Inspected and reseated memory modules, testing each one individually.
    3. Verified hard drive and CPU connections.
    4. Cleared the CMOS following the server manual instructions.
    5. Unable to Review diagnostic codes and System Event Log via the IMM interface because IMM interface was not accessible.

I'm now planning to update the UEFI firmware as per your suggestion but how if server is not accessible and not proceeding further from error on screen.

Thanks again for taking the time to assist me!

As you wrote in your mail that all the actions failed to remove the error, I'm pretty sure, you have to replace the system planar. By the way, you already tried to unplug the power cables for at least one minute and re-seated  the Power Supplies ???
If you can't reach the IMM, even with a reset to it's default, I would replace the planar board.
You could get that on ebay, but you would have to update the UEFI, the IMM, the MTM and S/N for the new planar. And to have a right to do that, you need to have a maintenance contract as far as I know.

So, I'm sorry for you. Hopefully you have a actual backup.

    kind regards,
    Joerg
