  • 1.  The EPS or FPM license pool is over-allocated

    Dear All,

    Hope you all are good in health.I installed CE 7.3.3, but after 2-3 days I faced an error "The EPS or FPM license pool is over-allocated. Please contact your administrator". I didn't integrate any log source yet. Anyone please help me how to overcome this error and why is it occur.

    Hey cool mind,

    set the allocation to 0 in both fields and click OK. Then the problem should be gone.

    Go to Admin -> System and License Management -> License Pool and you can change them there.

    I'm not a QRadar Specialist (have the same problem with the message "The EPS or FPM license pool is over-allocated. Please contact your administrator."- where / how do i set both fields to 0

    Did you change the IP address after installing? If you did, that is why you are seeing this.

    The correct way to change the IP address is documented in a blog post and not in the installation documentation.

    Yes I changes the IP, anyway I reinstalled the CE. will take care from next time and if I need to change the IP then I follewed the provided instructions.

    Mike, could you pls point me to the blog post you mentioned? IP change is tricky and the one I am aware of is says better reinstall! Install dokumentation is definitely not enough.
