    Hello,

Is this still working? Whenever I go to configure the application in MaaS360, the publish button is greyed out and I cannot proceed any further...

    Hi Cory
Use of SmartSwitch to copy a Maas360 profile is not recommended given the individual MDM profile created for an enrolled device cannot be validated on a newly installed device.
Ideally you would exclude MaaS360 from SmartSwitch backup/restore, maybe enroll into MaaS360 first and then if you wish you can use SmartSwitch to recover configuration and data for other apps.

    Hello,

Thanks for the reply. I ended up figuring out the issue. The issue I was having was that the publish button when doing an app configuration for Smart Switch to get it to run after enrolling a device on MaaS360, was greyed out and wouldn't let me publish it. The issue was resolved once I did a save draft, left that screen, went back into the configuration, and then the publish button would be ready. At that point I was able to push the app configuration to the devices that are needed. Once the restore is completed, it was removed from those devices to eliminate the security hole that  smart switch can cause

    Thanks!

Hi Cory - We have a bit of a known issue here that development is working to resolve.  The workaround is currently to select save and then come back in to the configuration view and you should be able to publish.  If that doesn't work, please let me know.

    Hi Michael,

Short answer is yes.  Long answer is that we're in the process of "modernizing" our entire policy framework.  This is pretty labor intensive, but we should start seeing this roll out over the next few months.  We will be updating this slowly just to make sure all of our customers can catch up to the changes, but help is on the way.
