    I'd like to know how to query cloud pak for security from external application in order to use the data explorer from python script or something similar?...

    For others with a similar question. There isn't a supported API documented at this time.

    There is an API for the SOAR connector:

    As for other APIs you can create an enhancement request:

    You can use Jupyter notebook to run federated searches and hunt for data https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/cloud-paks/cp-security/1.10?topic=postinstallation-using-jupyter-notebook-hunt-security-threats or use the Python package from here in your Python code https://github.com/IBM/ibm-cp4s-client
