I am getting the attached error while installing the qradar 188.8.131.52 version (latest vesion). File downloaded from IBM site. Please provide a solution if some one face this issue. Thanx
First thoughts based on scarce information provided : Are you trying to deploy a new instance or upgrade? If the latter, are you using the SFS or ISO? If SFS, is the underlying version newer than 7.3.2FP3?
Hi,thanks for share information. This is a fresh installation with ISO file and in logs file there is no error showing.
Based on the number from the attached pix, 2021.6.4.20221129155237, it's QRadar 7.5.0 Update Package 4 ISO.https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/6954423What is the current installed version? The latest version is 7.5.0 Update Package 5, Interim Fix 2.Please carefully read the release notes of the version that you're trying install since they contain dos and donts. One more thing. Each install should have a log file. Please review the log file for additional clues.Have fun applying the latest updates/patches.
Hi,this is a fresh installation with latest iso file i.e 7.5.0 but in logs file there is no error showing.
Based on the error message it's not allowing upgrade on the existing version (not fresh install).Have you try with SFS file instead of ISO?
Hi Atul, while you are confusing the experts pls provide:- ls output of iso file and mount command used for /media/cdrom- maybe something still mounted you are not aware of?- ls -l output of setup you are executing before starting- info on environment: base release if any, Virtual image? Fresh machine or existing one? appliance? This is NOT a fresh install!Loading the latest iso image on an existing Qradar install wont necessarily result in a fresh install, but in an upgrade of what you have already got!Setup is smart :-)Pls study prerequisites for 184.108.40.206 as already outlined by my co commentators! Everything stated so far is true!RegardsKarl
