  • 1.  Qradar admin questions

    I was a Qradar admin at IBM for 4 years. Had health issues turned out had sleep apnea. Had tests but pushed out the door.

    Now I would like to get back in but feel out of it for awhile and health issues at the end.

    Any suggestions what I could do to train get back in field as admin?

    Hey Bruce,

    I would assume you were using 7.3 previously? If so the general platform is the same within 7.5.

    Maybe pickup QRadar CE (based on 7.4 from memory) and run that in a lab. Im sure your previous skills will be applicable.

    There are some bootcamp videos on the new IBM Helps support YouTube channel that you might want to watch. I think this would be a good question to potentially ask in /r/QRadar subreddit too. There are several free badges. There is also a good series done by one of the subreddit particpants that is a general overview of QRadar 7.5 adminstration that you might find useful as they posted an entire course they created for Udemy to YouTube: https://www.reddit.com/r/QRadar/comments/135egx5/my_course_modern_ibm_qradar_75_administration_is/
