  • 1.  Need Upgrade path for v11.5 from v11.3 GPU 380

    Hello Seniors,

    I Need help in Upgrade path/plan from v11.3 GPU 380 to v11.5.  Also, Is it possible to  restore Config\Archive Data from v11.3 to v11.5.

    Also, will older versions GIM/Agents will will support to v11.5.

    Can we directly rebuild the appliances on v11.5 and restore the Config/Archive of v11.3...?

    Kindly assist on the upgrade plan/path. thanks much!

    Hi Akash,

    Here is the upgrade docs:
    The best approach for upgrading Guardium depends on the version you are upgrading from, the hardware of your system, and any special partitioning requirements you might have.

    Also, will older versions GIM/Agents will will support to v11.5.

    They should within reason, but we expect you to upgrade asap.  However 11.3 STAP should work well with V11.5, but the latest features will not be used.

    Can we directly rebuild the appliances on v11.5 and restore the Config/Archive of v11.3...?
    That should also be possible in theory but might be good to test it first before doing anything.  Just in case, as I do not know of anyone who has actually done it.
