  • 1.  MaaS360 iOS device app not available to add to the App Catalogue

    I have discovered the MaaS360 iOS device app is not searchable in the MaaS360 dashboard to add to the app catalogue.  The same holds true for any given Apple Business Manager dashboard when attempting to facilitate VPP app management.  IT simply does not appear in the search list in either the Apple Business Manager or the MaaS360 dashboard for iOS app distributions.  I have opened a ticket with IBM on this.  I am also aware several other apps are experiencing the same issues. 

     

    Has anyone seen this?

    Hi Mitch

    The MaaS360 for iOS app is usually pre-added for all new instances for the last number of years. 

    Can you please verify whether the app is already in place?

    This is a fresh install Eamonn. And when conducting new enrollments using the iOS Home Screen config template, it is not appearing. 

     

    I have since learned IBM Dev is aware there is a definitive API call issue which is affecting this.  The current workaround in an ABM is to use the app ID rather than searching by name.  This will add the app to the VPP list in the ABM and subsequently the app will show up in the MaaS app catalogue in the dashboard.  However.......it will not show up when attempting to whitelist/allow in the security policy and it will not show up when attempting to add it to the iOS Home Screen config template even when using the app id rather than searching by name.

    Hey Mitch, this issue looks to be fixed now... the MaaS360 app is now available again in MaaS360 even when browsing by name.
