ISVA vs ISVAOP future roadmap for OIDC Provider

  • 1.  ISVA vs ISVAOP future roadmap for OIDC Provider

Searching through discussions there doesn't seem to be any questions about the roadmap of running the ISVA appliance vs ISVAOP docker container as the OIDC Provider going forward post ISVA 10.0.5.

There are a lot of broken links after 10.0.6 in the OpenID Connect federations documentation.

    Ibm remove preview

The Federation module supports OpenID Connect (OIDC) Provider federations and OIDC Relying Party federations.

10.0.5 and older seems to be the last version.

Has running an OIDC Provider in AAC/Fed as part of ISVA Appliance been depreciated in preference for running the ISVAOP docker container or will there continue to be feature parity between the ISVA Appliance and ISVAOP.

There seems a lot of the Open Banking / FAPI focus is going into ISVAOP and configuration via YAML.

Is there an announcement of the future direction for ISVA vs ISVAOP?

There are no plans to deprecate the OIDC Provider in AAC/Fed as part of ISVA Appliance in preference for running the ISVAOP container image.   However, there are also no guarantees on feature parity between the two options

    I hope that this helps.
