    Hello all,

We are facing an issue setting up FELB on ISAM 9.0.7 appliance. The appliance has an instance of webseal configured and FELB enabled, both having the IPs of the same subnet.

The configuration appears to be right with the default settings, including the default routes. However, we are not able to telnet on the load balancer IP/Port, not even from any system within the same subnet. Also unable to telnet from inside the appliance itself through the CLI.

We have the same configuration of FELB working with an older version of ISAM, but it is not working in 9.0.7.

What could be wrong? Did someone else also come across this?

    Best regards,

    Jahanzaib,

What do you mean by 'telnet'?  Is it just that you are trying to establish a connection to the FELB but can't?  Have you checked the FELB log files to see what is happening?

    Hi Scott,

Yes, by telnet I mean I am just trying to establish a connection to the FELB to see if the port is listening or not. For this, I executed the command connect ip:port from the tools section of the appliance and it says failed to connect. In the FELB logs, the following message appears:

WGAWA0054E An error occurred while executing the system call: /usr/sbin/ip -f inet -- address add 192.168.10.188/255.255.255.0 label eth0:felb dev eth0 (0x2)

    Regards,
