  • 1.  IBM Resilent v.40 Administrator Settings/Apps menu Tab is missing

    Dear IBM Resilient SOAR experts, 

    I am a newcomer to IBM Resilient SOAR platform. From the beginning I have a problem regarding the process of installing and updating applications. The official documentation states that these actions can be done from the Administrator Settings / Apps menu (https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSBRUQ_40.0.0/doc/admin/apps_install.html), The problem is that I do not have this menu in the graphical interface of the product Am I doing something wrong? Please help me with some advice on this issue. Thank you!

    In one of the last few releases of Resilient they added the 'Apps' permission to roles.  You will need to add that permission to whatever role you expect to have access to the Apps.

    Indeed, following your advice, I found the option where you said. I went through the configuration of the roles dozens of times but I didn't see it :).

    App host is not currently supported in MSSP Organizations.  That support will be in our v41 release coming up in Q2.

    Hi, 

    I.m running v.40.0.6554.
    I noticed that in the MSSP version you can't check the "apps" option because it doesn't exist. Only on the single organization version this option is available in the "Roles" tab. If you have MSSP, try to set up another organization without multi tenant environment deployed. I don't know if this is the right option, but that's the only way it worked for me. Version 41 will probably bring new things, as Michael kindly pointed out.
