We got 12 mac devices with random expiring MDM certificate notices. When we first noticed this 10 days ago created a ticket to the Tech support. Since then all the certificates have expired devices have not shown any impact only the annoyance of the popping before expiring.
See attached screen shots
Has anyone experienced any similar situation?
Here are my interactions with Tech support.
- What is the certificate for -- certificate is be default a proof of authentication and enrollment - What do we need to do to update expired certificates -- as for now, nothing. - What do we need to do to update unexpired certificates -- as for now, nothing. - When a device is enrolled what's the default certificate life -- 1 year For now, there is no fix. But we were also informed that there should be no impact for the end-users. Rest assured we will be keeping in touch once we have the fix. Thank you for bearing with us. |
