I tried deleting the cache and cookies, using a different PC and browser as suggested and it's still coming up with the error. I tried raising a ticket with O2 helpdesk but they haven't got back to me.

From experience this sort of thing can be a local pc or browser cookies issue.
Suggest you test on another pc, delete cookies/temp files and try again.
If still not working please raise a Support ticket.
