Has anyone been successful in getting apps to auto update? We have tried several things, and have worked with support, and never got it to work. Users still have to manually go into the app catalog and update the app. This, accompanied by the fact that MaaS' reporting is always a day behind, means patching is a real challenge. Thinking it is time to scrap MaaS, but wondering if anyone else has been able to get this to work? Thanks.

What kinds of devices and apps are involved?

    Just some general points:

    iOS

Apps need to have VPP licenses and devices need to be Supervised for MaaS360 controlled auto updates.

In the portal App catalog under More>App Settings>Basic ensure that the Auto Update setting is selected

    Android

Devices need to be Android Enterprise managed for Google Play apps to be silently updated

In these scenarios, the "Instant Install" should be checked off in the App view as well.

Only iOS and only VPP apps are used by us.
