  • 1.  How to restore a deleted application or delete permanently

    We have an application that was installed via an IPA a couple years ago.  this is a B2B application from one of our vendors.  Since then the vendor has elected to use the VPP ability to give us access to the application.
    The application was deleted from our App Catalog so that it could be updated manually.  Now we are not getting the updated application showing in the Catalog and when we try to do a sync for VPP, it gives an error that it fails and Already Exists.
    Is there a way to restore the deleted application or can we delete it permanently so that it will not show as Already Exists?

    Hi Connie
    If you can send me a private message with your account ID I can look into this. 
    Alternatively you can raise a ticket with Support. 
    The idea being we work out whether the existing (old) app can be permanently deleted.

    Have you tried to update the VPP token already?
    As advised by Eamonn, you can also open a support ticket.

    HI Ethan,
      The token doesn't expire until April currently.  The admin is hesitant to just load a new vpp token in case it breaks anything else.

    Would the steps be to go to ABM and create the token and then use the update link to load the one just created.

    Hi Connie,

    In relation to the current issue being experienced by the client, updating the VPP token will be more of benefit than not doing it.
    I would strongly advise in creating a support ticket if the issue persists after this. We need to get more information from you.
