Community Edition download error

  • 1.  Community Edition download error

    Posted Mon April 12, 2021 11:25 AM
Trying to download QRADAR CE 7.7.3, I got "An error has occurred" followed by text about "This product is subject to strict US export control laws..." and that they will review my request and contact me if "we are able to give access."

Is this normal?  I live in the U.S.?

The first IBM download site I went to had me login, then afterwards gave me an invalid page msg.

    Tried to download from https://www.ibm.com/community/qradar/ce/

    Hello @John Tyson,

    That's weird :)

Check your IP on a public platform to verify the localisation physical and registrar. (Check your TI information too like : https://exchange.xforce.ibmcloud.com/ip/XX.YY.ZZ.AA)

If you are still in the US, verify then your account information if you are registered is in the US.

Use this link for the form: https://www.ibm.com/account/reg/us-en/subscribe?formid=urx-32552 to download CE.

After installl don't forget to apply : https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/6395080

    Hope this helps.

    Regards.

Thank you, Pascal. I received an automated email from IBM on 4/11/21 saying "we have fixed the error in your account" and I was able to successfully install Qradar CE.  Now I'm stuck trying to get data fed into Qradar.  Maybe I will make a separate post for that if I can't find anything here.
