    Registering to the New Thales Support Portal for IBM GDE Release Downloads

    July 2020

    Thales has migrated software releases and support information for the IBM Guardium Encryption suite of products (i.e. GDE, GCKM, etc.) from Thales Download server - - to the new Thales Support Portal - IBM customers and Support personnel are asked to register for access to the new portal using the following steps:

    1. Login to the new Thales Support Portal at
    2. Click the Register link on the top toolbar.
    3. In the Registration form, enter contact and company details
    4. For Customer Identifier enter unique code: 6-ACCT0121078
    5. Accept the Privacy Terms and click the Submit button to complete registration request.



    After submitting your registration form, you will receive a confirmation email with a temporary password, which you will be required to change when you log in to the Support Portal for the first time.

    Once you have your temporary password, please complete your registration with the following steps:

    1. Go to the new support portal using link and click the Login link on the top toolbar of the Support Portal Home page.
    2. Enter your business email that you registered with and temporary password, and then click Login
    3. After successful login, you will be prompted to change your password.
    4. Enter your temporary password in the Current Password field, and then enter the new password you would like to use in the New Password and Confirm New Password fields.

      Note: The new password must be at least 8 characters and must contain 1 digit, 1 uppercase letter, and 1 lowercase letter.

    5. Click Submit. You will be automatically logged in to the Support Portal. When logged in, your name will appear in the top right corner of the toolbar.

    Finding Downloads

    The Thales Support Portal provides a customized “home” page of Thales product, where you’ll find the latest articles and Downloads focused just on that product. Upon login, you can access the downloads by selecting “My Products” on the toolbar of the home page.

    Subscribing to Product Updates

    The My Subscriptions page allows you to set your preferences for notification of new and updated knowledge articles related to the products you own. You can choose to receive email updates on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. You can also manage individual articles that you have subscribed to.

    The Create Case link does not function for accounts requiring software downloads.

    The use of Guardium Encryption software requires a registration code that can be obtained only by entitled customers and is distributed only via Passport Advantage (PA) -  If you need to purchase any of the Guardium Encryption products, please contact your IBM Sales Representative.


    If you have recently purchased a Guardium Encryption product (i.e. GDE), please login to your PA account to download the enabler package – which, in turn, will provide the registration code.  Once you have your registration code, you can go to the download portal site to download the software images:
