We are pleased to announce the general availability of AppHost, IBM Security Resilient’s new integration infrastructure that containerizes integrations and brings integration management into the WebUI, reducing the installation and deployment time of applications to minutes.
The goal of a security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) platform isn’t to replace human intelligence, but to empower security teams to be more effective and efficient with the help of automation and orchestration. The new AppHost functionality in Resilient increases SOC efficiency by enabling security teams to install and deploy applications quickly and easily by:
- A guided installation process
Security teams can download applications from the IBM Security App Exchange and install them from the UI through a simple, step-by-step installation process.
- Easy application configuration
The guided installation process allows for the configuration of each application through auto-generated and editable settings. The customization panel shows examples of out-of-the-box playbooks and automations available for that specific integrations.
- Secure Kubernetes-based containerized deployment
Applications are deployed in different containers, enhancing application security and management.
Your security team can leverage the more than 160 published applications for Resilient in the IBM Security App Exchange, which have been updated to support AppHost today to take advantage of this simplified app deployment model. This functionality is now available through Resilient SaaS and on-premise deployment (VM).
