IBM Z Security Announcements: 8/8/2023

As many of you saw the z/OS 3.1 Announcement yesterday, we are excited to also announce several new Z Security releases that align to IBM z/OS 3.1!!

  1. Introducing Unified Key Orchestrator for IBM z/OS, the NEW Enterprise Key Management Foundation - Web Edition. This rebranding aligns UKO for z/OS with IBM Cloud Hyper Protect Crypto Services with Unified Key Orchestrator, which comes with several new enhancements! Check out the announcement here!

  2. A new release of IBM Z Security and Compliance Center 1.2 and IBM LinuxONE Security and Compliance Center 1.2 was announced yesterday, as well. These releases include support for STIGs from DISA, PCI DSS 4.0, simplified access management, and much more!

  3. Finally, IBM Security zSecure Suite 3.1 complements the new release of zSCC with expanded support for DISA STIG, ISPF UI enhancements, and Center for Internet Security (CIS), IBM z/OS with RACF benchmark… just to name a few. Check out the announcement for the full list of added enhancements!
