Session Description: This lively discussion will cover the preparation needed in order for you to do an effective Threat Hunt. We will cover strategic threat modeling, with hands on practice building your own threat model. We also discuss the modern security organization of 2024. The Collection Management Framework (CMF) will be discussed, helping to clarify what cybersecurity data is available and for how long. After that preparation is done, then we show a few examples of threat hunting, using modern cyber data such as certificates which are available to users of QRadar Network Insights.
