Why AIX 7200-05-05-2246 recommended update based on FLRT is to 7200-05-09-2446 ???.

Hi All,

I am new in IBM Power especially in the pSeries Platform.

I'm curious why AIX 7200-05-05-2246 recommended update by FLRT to 7200-05-09-2446 while the latest version is 7200-05-10-2520.

Really appreciate for your explanation about this.

SP 10 came out on 2025.07.25 and it has not been 90 days. "IBM recommends that most users not upgrade AIX until the new version has been in the field for 90 days."
You likely should go to here Power System Recommendations Report as it is complicated to recommend what to use.
