Hi All,

Is there a way to stop BW live creating an attachment for every image i paste into the the docs screen? We are a small business and only require a small number of editor licenses but our process standards require screenshots which quickly fill our storage limit.

Hi Mark, the short answer is "unfortunately not" since any rich media embedded in the documentation tab is considered an "attachment". However, one workaround would be to add a link instead of an attachment. For example, saving it to SharePoint or OneDrive or Box and then pasting that link into the documentation tab. This is normally what we would recommend to anything that could be referenced by another system (like a policy or reference document) - this is because Blueworks is not a document repository since it does not support versioning of documents, sharing of documents only, etc. That said, the only type of documents we would say are ok to attach or embed are screenshots, but even these can be problematic for smaller footprints as you have discovered. The only other recommendation I would give is to perhaps reduce the size of the screenshots to save on space, but this may be a hassle to do that for every screenshot. Sorry I couldn't give a better answer!
