 Unable to access the purchased program SPSS on my MacBook

Good Evening, 

I am reaching out for assistance with getting SPSS up and running on my computer. The program was purchased and I bought the package according to my macbook's version - 14.6.1 

once downloaded however, I'm still unable to access the program. I found a patch online that others suggested in another IBM forum with no luck. I am unsure where to go from here and was told by IBM technical support to make a post for assistance? I am unable to make a case online because I do not have a business ID number and am unsure of the next steps to take in order to utilize the program for school. Thank you.

What SPSS Statistics product and version did you download?

There were definitely problems with versions of IBM SPSS Statistics (macOS) prior to version 29.0.2.0 running on macOS 14.x (Sonoma) and macOS 15.x (Sequoia).  The current release of IBM SPSS Statistics (and also IBM SPSS Statistics Subscription) is version 30.0.0.0 .   Version 30.0.0.0 (build 172) has had no issues on macOS 14.x (Sonoma) nor macOS 15.x (Sequoia).  Versions 30.0.0.0 (172) should not require you to install any patches. So my first suggestion to you will be to download and install version 30.0.0.0 (172).
